WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANTS

Waste Water Treatment Plants are used to convert Waste Water into an effluent which can be returned to the water cycle with limited impact on the environment. Pollutants are removed or broken down during this process, to prepare water for Reclamation.

Some processes used may include Phase Separation, Sedimentation, Filtration, Oxidation and Polishing, however they can also be distinguished by the type of Wastewater to be treated (Sewage, Agricultural or Industrial).
