GEAR PUMPS

A type of Rotary Positive Displacement Pump, Gear Pumps transfer a constant amount of fluid with every revolution, utilising its non-pulsating pumping action created by fluid being transferred via gears travelling in and out of mesh.

Gear Pumps can pump at high pressures and can pump high viscosity liquids efficiently. They are not suited for pumping solids and abrasive liquids.

They can be used for a variety of applications including Chemicals, Oils, Wax, Paint/Ink, Honey, Soap, Alcohol and Chocolate and can be either Internal or External in design.
